Dr Allin graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1979. He trained in pathology at the University of Cape Town from 1987-1991 and qualified FRCPA in 1994. Dr Allin has worked in a number of positions in New Zealand and Australia within the Sonic Healthcare Group. He joined Clinpath Laboratories in 2002. Dr Allin is a member of the International Academy of Pathology, Australasian Division. He has maintained a broad interest in general surgical pathology and cytopathology.
